Nevertheless, at 40 years after the end of producing the Mangusta model, a modern designer named Maxime de Keiser wondered what a modern version of the De Tomaso would look like. Therefore, he created a digital concept which he called De Tomaso Mangusta Legacy Concept.

The artist preserved the original model’s shapes, without modifying the original version too much.

The De Tomaso Mangusta Legacy Concept has adapted its lines to the modern tendencies and can be accessorized with all the modern gadgets from the nowadays cars.

According to the designer who built the 3D prototype, the new model “must transmit the impression of a wild force and elegance of an animal that isn’t afraid of anything”. In the same time, Maxime de Keiser has emphasized that the car must speak aggressiveness even in the static frames, like a wild feline does in the moments it rests.
