This Opel/Vauxhall Monza Concept is a project visualizing what the Opel/Vauxhall models will look like in the future, introducing new details and futuristic characteristics.

The main idea of the model is preserved, while it is also enriched with a new design language and innovative gadgets, ensuring an improved performance and driving experience.

The initial Monza model was introduced for the first time at the 1977 IAA, representing a six cylinders engine on a big sized coupe. Influences from Opel Insignia 2003 are also easy to notice.

The Opel/Vauxhall Monza Concept takes the old design and adapts it to the present days’ style. The concept has four seats, with a design resembliong the ocean’s waves. The passengers ca access the car both from the front or back sides.

The Opel/Vauxhall Monza Concept has a very unusual detail: the roof. It start is a semi-round shape, characteristic of a standard coupe car, with a slowly changing shape at the tailgate.

Don’t get fooled by the sportive long silhouette, the truck hasn’t suffered at all and it provides a generous volume of 500 liters. The passengers also have enough space, so we can say that the comfort level is satisfying.

The entire design of the body is pretty flexible, which allows installing various drive trains on this car. The initially presented concept ran on a CNG electric system. The new generation of that drive train comes with a 3 cylinders 1.0 SIDI turbo engine, working on natural gas.
