Three Songs That I Bumped to When I Was a Teen!

Nelly, “Here Comes The Boom”. This song will always make it onto a list of songs describing me as a person. Yes it might have come out before I was even considered to be a teen, but it still played a major roll in my teen years. “Here Comes The Boom” was played through my headphones before every sporting event just so I could get my mind right. Just searching the name on YouTube got me hyped up with the videos that could be found!

Kid Cudi, “Soundtrack 2 My Life”. You can’t really make a list of songs about your life without a song titled “Soundtrack 2 My Life”. Back in high school Kid Cudi made great music that I felt like I related to. I would walk the halls of my school saying “speak to me Cudi” and thinking that we went through the same experiences. Honestly looking back now, I would have to say that I did not have anything in common with his music. However that does not change the fact that I still love it.

Chiddy Bang, “Opposite of Adults”. This song came to me while I was playing a racing game that I loved. One day I was actually just listening to the music in the game and noticed that this song was great and decided to look it up. Little did I know that “Need For Speed” would lead me to one of my most favorite music groups of my teen years.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
