2 Minutes on You.

Because I talk about myself too much.

I have a nasty habit that I can’t shake; I talk about myself a lot. In conversations, I notice that when somebody references their own life, I try to replicate by telling my similar albeit actually totally different experiences. That’s kind of how conversations work, but I know damn well that nobody really needs to hear about me. So let me talk about what I think of you (being the general you of course. I don’t know you specifically that well.)

When it comes down to it, I actually care about your problems more than any of mine, whoever you are. I want you to generally care about other people more than yourself, too. I really want you, as well as the rest of the world, to generally believe that people are inherently good by nature. Don’t be afraid of the world around you. Enjoy it. Embrace it. You only get one go-around (I think.)

Live your life. Have fun. Never stop having fun. Don’t be serious all the time. Smile, dammit. Too often, the world gets down on itself. You tend to think that the negatives outweigh the positives (or something else that people say.) That’s not always the case.

I am a fan of you.

I’m really never this serious. I swear. Follow me on Twitter and see.
