Google’s Chrome browser will start flagging some websites that don’t use web encryption
Starting in January of 2017, Google’s Chrome browser will start flagging some websites that don’t use web encryption as “Not Secure”.
What this means to you as a business website owner is that you’ll need to migrate your website to a platform that allows for easy SSL installation, or pay for a developer to install an SSL certificate on your web server.
What we suggest is that you take care of two things before the end of 2016.
- Hire AllerGale Design to migrate your existing website and content, AND while were doing this give your website a Refresh. We all need an updated website about every 12–18 months.
- Second, part of the migration of your website includes an SSL secure website and hosting plan on one of our preferred platforms. NewPicklePro and pixelcactus both offer this service.
