Allirajah Subaskaran is the founder of Lyca Group and serves as the company’s group chairman today. Mr Subaskaran is a visionary and thought leader of the telecommunications industry, with more than 18 years of entrepreneurial experience. As the founder of Lycatel, he stewarded what grew to become a world-leading telecommunications company, with operations across the UK, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada and the USA today.
In 2006, Allirajah Subaskaran launched Lyca Mobile, creating a benchmark model for MVNOs. Mr Subaskaran founded Lyca Mobile with the vision of building the number one international calling brand. Today, Lyca Mobile operates in 23 countries across Europe, the United States and Australia, boasting the largest global footprint of any international MVNO with more than 16 million customers worldwide.
A serial entrepreneur, Allirajah Subaskaran’s business acumen has led him to build and acquire numerous businesses over the years. Lyca Group’s subsidiaries span a broad range of industries including entertainment, media, travel, healthcare, marketing, financial services and hospitality.
