Everyone has their own preferences, and if someone explicitly would never want to date someone with a penis/vagina, what happens then?
From the story:
Let’s be clear: We all have legitimate preferences in the bodies we connect with…
This would include genitals, I should think.
The story is about what happens —
…when you reject a woman who fully meets your attraction profile…
— which would necessarily include her genitals.
By the way, ‘sex change’ is very antiquated and rather cringy language. We don’t ‘change sex’; some of us choose to conform our bodies to match our experienced gender. Trans women are born women and will always be women, regardless of the shape of our bodies.
Some of us choose to have GRS — genital reconstructive surgery — a better term for the procedure you mean.
Thank you for writing.
