Absolutely agree with you, and for me, it was also the look Chewie gave her. In the same way that the droids are this constant window through which we experience the SW universe, Chewie also plays this role. And like the droids, he doesn’t speak a language viewers can understand, but he does emote and make noises that we can interpret and then later find out the true meaning of— like this one. Chewie is the witness to Han’s story, and it’s clear that he knows a lot more than we do about Rey.

The other thing that was meaningful for me was the look that happened between Luke and Rey when they finally see each other. It’s another scene that’s open to interpretation, but for me, there is a look a recognition on Rey’s face, like she’s suddenly remembering a flood a memories.
