This is an incredibly important message. I likely conducted my previous business in a similar manner back in 2000. It’s more like I was doing quick calculations in my head as to the benefits of getting to know someone. The trouble with that is first, it’s all the things you said above, and also it’s like you are shooting yourself in the foot. The people I don’t have time for probably know other people who would make good connections, but I’ll never find out. Now that I’m giving entrepreneurship another chance, my entire attitude, disposition and goals have changed. Being a kind and compassionate soul to everyone I meet brings rewards of a much higher nature. And that’s how I will be conducting business this second time around.
