Is Caffeine A Nutrient Or A Drug?

Caffeine is commonly classified as a drug in mainstream nutrition, but I believe this can only be true if taken in by itself without the right nutrients.

Clients always come to me asking should I quit coffee if I want to get healthy? I say, well, it depends on how you take it. Coffee can be extremely beneficial when taken with other nutrients.

Since caffeine in coffee is a metabolic stimulant drinking coffee by itself with no food with leave you on an adrenaline high leading to pure exhaustion only needing more coffee to get your energy back up.
