If you’re looking to up your parkour game, here are eight Advanced Parkour Moves that will take your practice to the next level.

The basic principles of Parkour

1. Parkour is a physical fitness activity that combines the art of movement with climbing, jumping and running. It is based on the principle that mobility is key to safety and allows practitioners to improve their overall fitness and agility.

2. To start, find a spot where you can practice your moves without disturbing others. Choose an area that has good footing and plenty of obstacles to use for training purposes. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, as accidents can happen quickly in a parkour setting.

3. Once you have found an appropriate spot, begin by warming up your body by doing some stretches or simple exercises before starting your training session. Next, focus on practicing basic movement techniques such as turning, stepping and hopping over obstacles. As you gain more experience, move on to more advanced techniques such as balance-walking, wall-climbing and roof-running.

Advanced Parkour Moves

There are a few advanced moves that you can do to improve your parkour skills. These moves will help you move faster and more efficiently through the environment.

To do this, start by jumping onto an edge and then slide your feet along it until you reach the other side. Once there, hop off of the edge and land on the ground. From there, continue your movement.

3. Doubleback: This is similar to a freestep, but instead of walking forward you go backwards. To do this, start by standing at one point on an edge and then jump backwards towards another point on the same surface. When you reach the second point, stop and turn around so that you’re facing forward again. From there, continue your movement forward.
