I did veganism for a month in high school, and was vegetarian for a year in 9th grade. My biggest recommendation is to focus on eating whole foods and giving life to vegetables, opposed to finding “meat alternatives”. The health benefits with be exponential if you’re not eating things like soy veggie burgers etc. and it gave me a life long appreciation for veggies!
