Are you an mlm or opportunity hoarder

In real life a hoarder is someone who collects things for sentimental value or a need perhaps for a later time. They accumulate more and more stuff in their place that eventually their home become a garbage collection of belongings overall.

Even years later they just can’t let go. What looks to them as useful sentiments and tangible possessions is nothing more than total clutter to someone else.

That brings me to those who work online.

These are the folks who keep joining program after program and for some reason or another never really work the program (they say they will get to it later) or don’t consume the product or service either within the program. But they feel compel to stay with it because perhaps tomorrow or sometime thereafter they might resume where they left off. They just don’t want to let it go for some reason.

Part of the problem is not that they aren’t 100% ever going to get back to it, it’s that they are consume with the latest shiny object all the time. It’s like a need, an addiction, they must get in it in hopes of reaching that pinnacle of financial freedom. But really the consensus is they won’t.

Here’s some solutions to your mlm hoarding days.

  1. First of all change your online opportunity habit. Stop joining everything. In fact if you are in more than 3 to 5 different opportunities right now, don’t join anything else unless it’s a service or product you will use everyday and in that case if you can become a consumer instead of a distributor go that route instead. For ex: you see a program to help you save money your groceries. But you are in 7 other programs. Why don’t you just use this program for now as a consumer instead of a distributor.
  2. Unless you are completely successful in the ones you have going right now, don’t keep joining new things. That will lead to number three.
  3. When you join new things over and over, not only do you lose focus and attention, but it can be overwhelming and distracting at the same time. If you are in 5 or more different things daily it can and will take up a lot of time usually. Most of us don’t have more and more extra time in their day beside what they have going.
  4. Integrity. If you are joining this mlm and then next month you join another one, and then you join two more two months later, the folks who you brought into program one will see you are a program jumper, someone who doesn’t stay committed long enough. Best to stay in a the one or two and work those completely. Basically stop being a ongoing program jumper.
  5. If you keep joining new programs you will realize if you aren’t really successful in any of them how much are you really spending overall (per month or year) to be in them. Especially with autoships, if you are promoting them via paid ads, etc. Sometimes it’s better to just cut the fat.
  6. Taking on too many tasks by being in too many programs can lead to thinking you accomplish a lot but in reality you accomplish hardly anything. Your focus is scatter and you are everywhere. If you are in one or two program you can probably get more done productively than if you are in 5 or more programs all together.

The point is it’s better to work smarter than harder.

I know many times folks will ask you to join their program because it’s new, you can get spillover easily, everybody is joining it, it’s going to be a huge worldwide sensation, etc. The thing is most of these within a year aren’t, about 90% of most of those programs lose momentum, disappear or the great leader who told you all this has move on to something else luring in the same folks into another newest greatest thing to hit the globe.
