Goals vs Feelings

As we have completed our resolutions for this year. I was just wondering, so we really want to achieve goals or we just want to generate those feelings which they bring while listing them down. For some time I got confused whether I have a goal or a desire or feeling attached to that particular things.

Wouldn’t it be great if I can have those felling every single day rather than getting once it gets completed.

Eg it’s better to exercise daily and feel happy rather than writing those be fit, join the gym etc etc other stuff. Or in relationship , it’s better to do lots of small small things everyday than planning a big event in next 90 days.
