I have a confession.

I am a writer, and I’m not participating in National Novel Writing Month. I’ve done it before, and I’ve completed it before (written 50,000 words in one month) but for the past few years, it just hasn’t seemed to fit in with my writing life.

I know this, but, I’ll admit, when I see all the other writers getting ready and the memes start to pop…
