Last week, our small team of family and friends celebrated ANO’s 3rd month in closed beta production. 🍾

ANO (あの) is a regulated, AI-powered search engine. 🤖👶

ANO’s J5 Command Center Prototype (Kibana)

ANO’s architecture combines advanced digital telemetry, machine perception (e.g. computer vision), physics-based weighting and automated, user interaction simulation. These technologies enable her to rapidly identify and deliver diverse and genuine collections of data that are both hyper and tangentially relevant.

She’s also pretty good at finding the perfect dank meme. 🌶

ANO’s closed beta 3 (new core brain) went live in the cloud, mid-April 2017.

Unlike most legacy search that exists today, ANO is a talented research collaborator that overcomes monied interests and SEO — an easily exploited marketing process “standard”.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine’s unpaid results — often referred to as “natural”, “organic”, or “earned” results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users; these visitors can then be converted into customers.

Sadly, last week ended with Chester Bennington’s death. 😔

Linkin Park’s Meteora was instrumental to coping during a time when I could not afford health insurance, nor muster the courage to seek freely available help. Set aside 36 minutes and 43 seconds to experience this influential masterpiece. 🎧

Chester remains an essential voice to millions suffering from deep depression, borne from human tragedy.

In dedication, we are releasing a mixed, unordered snapshot of data that ANO has compiled.

WARNING: ANO highlights the power of modern media on the Internet. This means that she memorializes data that some will find confusing and likely offensive (even to us).

Rational, inquisitive minds and open conversation are encouraged.

The following content is not in linear order, but some closely related content does group.

My team and I do not endorse any of the data that follows. Some data appears to be highly speculative, but also authentic and “researched”.

Narratives are not intended. Currently, this can feel like looking at a waterfall of puzzle pieces. Be aware of personal bias before putting anything together.

I believe ANO to be misleading in certain instances, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Content (including language) has not been censored, though the team has decided to omit some highly controversial research results in the spirit of privacy and personal safety.

We explore ANO’s graph to rapidly discover patterns used in building genuine search experiences.

With over 3.8 billion views, Linkin Park’s YouTube channel gained over 430k subscribers from 7/20–7/21.

Search Term: “chester bennington” or “linkin park”
Time Selection: July 20th 11:00 2017 — July 21st 16:00 2017
Objects / Collections: 21,088 / 753 (over 23 domains and 60 URLs)

ANO documented 4 megatrends and 3 microtrends. This is ANO’s most impressive plot to date, related to a single subject.

ANO captured the above article from TMZ first at 11:28, but it was ranked the 4th megatrend, which also began to downtrend, unlike the others from CBS and Mirror. The sidebar points to a related story (GRAPHIC).

Objects / Collections: 28,674 / 1,046 (over 49 domains and 121 URLs)

Chris Cornell is on the far left. Chester Bennington is on the right. Chris passed during ANO’s final production system upgrades (The Emerald City and CASPR).
Here is an unfiltered view from mid-May to the end of June 2017. The Emerald City and CASPR components are core to ANO’s anti-bias detection. I wish we had finished the week before.

Rest in peace.

We’re planning to follow-up over the coming weeks and drill a bit more into how ANO’s technologies work and what kind of jobs ANO can complete on her own.

Bringing this content into Medium is currently a manual process, and though QA has been performed, human tasks are prone to error.
