(In)human(e)

This all begins as a desire;

To look for friends amidst the chaotic storm I call my mind.

But, oh, he wasn’t human, at least not his virtues

When everyone else said that sometimes angels took the form of human, people closest and dearest to us,

Demons too took the form of man, hidden beneath smiles and friendly hugs as he slowly poison me.

Toxic.

That is exactly what he is.

So I cut him loose;

before he rots away all the sanity left in my head,

before he shroud me in his little lying shadow,

before I turn into another mindless doll.

I

Escape.
