ALTAVA Bi-Weekly Project Update — 2nd July

As we’re now heading into a new month, it’s time for our ALTAVA bi-weekly project update!
ALTAVA Worlds of You
We’re working on some exciting new features and updates for ALTAVA Worlds of You, which is at the core of what makes ALTAVA so enticing and unique.
On 29th June, we submitted applications to both the Google and Apple store for approval of these new features, as well as approval for the launch of our WOY Square and social deduction game. We look forward to unveiling these to you as soon as possible!
Unfortunately, these app store approvals can take time and have created a few delays in the launch. Like all good things though, it will be worth the wait!
Here are some of the features you can expect once the updates have been approved:
- ALTAVA Square
- The addition of more themed spaces within the ALTAVA World
- ALTAVA Social deduction game
Let’s take a look at the benefits of these updates.
Firstly, things are about to get more social! Users will soon have the ability to connect, communicate and interact with other users within our ALTAVA Worlds of You.
With ALTAVA Square, there will soon be many other themed spaces within the ALTAVA World, making it even more dynamic and compelling. The update will see users being able to explore these new spaces and interact with other users.
The ALTAVA Team is continuously working on creating further themed spaces, as well as implementing an array of fun features.
To provide some examples:
- Treasure boxes
- Photozone (Photo taking)
- The ability to add friends
As you explore the spaces within the ALTAVA World, you’ll soon be able to find treasure boxes along the way, entitling you to a variety of rewards!
Elevating the social element to the next level and offering a parallel to the real world, you’ll also be able to take photos with other fellow users in the ALTAVA Worlds of You.
Social Deduction Game
In addition, the ALTAVA Team has been working on the development of a social deduction game, where players attempt to uncover each other’s hidden role or team allegiance.
A truly immersive experience, the game will take place within an expansive mansion with different rooms where users will complete various missions to access hints to locate the hidden room with the team/role.
We’ll be adding new rooms, actions and roles for this social deduction game. Users will enjoy exploring more extensively within the game and engage with others — or even with their friends or family!
Game Optimization
As you’re aware, the visual elements of our ALTAVA Worlds game are incredibly cutting-edge, highly defined and feature detailed and realistic graphics, which although is a benefit, places a heavy demand on our app. There’s a tendency for lags to occur and overheating of the user’s mobile device. This has unfortunately been an issue since our application was developed and our development team have been working hard on improving the game optimization to reduce the lag and create a smoother and enhanced user experience. After all, we want you to enjoy the full benefits!
Updating of secondskin.app — Staking Page
Our ALTAVA infrastructure and blockchain teams have also been updating our secondskin.app page.
These front end updates include:
- Applying website design modifications for enhanced usability
- Editing and resolving the incorrect part of My Staking Date
- Fixing of the bug that attempts to connect in duplicate when connecting to a coin base wallet
- When the holder/user is reconnecting to the secondskin.app, there will be a more refined process of checking the types of wallet to connect respectively
The back end updates include:
- The Wallet authentication step has been added within the registration of the staking
- Calculation and formula of Max APY has been edited
- A modified renewal process of the wallet address that owns Second Skin NFT
- Prevention of the duplicated NFT information when the holder is registering for the stacking.
- Application of the API key

TAVA Token and listing
The listing of our TAVA tokens were unfortunately delayed due to external variables in the second quarter of 2022, but we’re currently in discussions with various major exchanges regarding the updated schedules.
We’ll of course make sure to keep you updated and confirm the specific listing schedule when it is finalized.
Community Engagement Fund
We’re very happy to announce the launch of our new community initiative, the “Community Engagement Fund”!
We have already allocated 10ETH to promote and support community engagement within our discord and other social media platforms. At the heart of ALTAVA is you — our community and so our goal for the fund is to incentivize and promote meaningful participation and engagement.
You can find the fund proposal channel and tip jar nomination channel in the Community Engagement section of the app.
5 ETH will be used for the proposal fund and 5 ETH will be allocated towards tipjar nominations. So far, we have received two proposals from the Korean community and nominations from some of our own community members!
The Oxhug and ALTAVA teams are currently reviewing all the nominations and proposals and we’ll be selecting the successful ones for June very shortly. We’ll of course announce these soon so watch this space!
Meanwhile, we encourage you to actively participate and submit your proposals to have a chance at being nominated!
Bear market
You’re probably aware that the crypto market has seen another bear market season, but rest assured, this doesn’t mean we’ll be stopping our development plans! These bear market seasons tend to fluctuate and we’re continuing to work hard on delivering what we have scheduled on our roadmap.
