Hello there, racers! It’s Game Designer Benjo of the Battle Racers team once again. Today, I’ll be going over how cars are assembled from parts.

Car Assembly

In our last sneak peek, we talked about car parts and how they work. So now that we know about parts, how do we turn them into cars?

Each car is made up of four (4) parts: Front, Body, Rear, and Wheels. Once you have one of each type, they can be combined together as a car. The stats of the car will be based on the cumulative stats of each of the parts used.

We’ve been quiet on Medium as both our game development and website teams have been on overdrive! Since our last update, Decentraland has started inviting players to their closed beta. These World Explorers have early access to the platform and can explore the virtual world freely. If you’re an Explorer, you might have already seen the Battle Racers arena at (66,-21). Dax: I make art for majority of the UI. It’s an end to end task — screen studies and mockups based on the design team’s UX flow. Iterate on selected art direction for the game’s UI until we lock it down. Execute in Unity or whatever platform is required. Animate UI elements for transition and interactive feedback. …
