At the end of grade 12 I was nationally ranked with a substantial scholarship potential when in the high school provincial final 100 fly I was a little too amped and overshot the wall resulting in two completely separated shoulders.

That was a thrill to live down.

Focused on life guarding, then became a life guard trainer, then satisfied my love of competing with lifeguard comps. Still judge the provincials today. Okay let’s hear yours!
