Dear Camille Paglia, The Art of Aging Gracefully is a Process That Requires No Interpretation

Excellent piece. Though I have to admit, for as much as Paglia can grate on my nerves in about 3 seconds flat, I find her somewhat fascinating. In the same sense as slowly watching a train wreck from a safe distance. Like an 80’s one hit wonder band, she was relevant for about an hour in the mid nineties with some unique and refreshingly brave critiques of gender, but the more you listened to her the more obvious her reductive and anti-feminist agenda became. Her latest pronouncements sound flat, bitter, and very Anne Coulter-ish in their desperate attempt to coin a winning soundbite.
