Thanks for sharing this Marlene. I’ve often wondered if this was the case when I have seen people with their service dogs; I’m saddened to hear that my suspicions were correct. Even if (and I stress if, because really, who would go to the trouble to fake having a service dog), the occasional person fakes it, by denying people like yourself that is directly affecting both your access to public spaces and your mental health, therefore your overall physical health as well.
