Please let’s not confuse witchcraft — call it what you will , earth magic, paganism, — with Biblical belief in God. He has spoken clearly about divination and such in His word, both Old Testament and New, and also says we should pray for our leaders, whether we like them or not (remember the first readers of the NT letters were under Roman occupation, which is much worse than simply having a jerk for a president). Ecumenism speaks to promoting unity among the Christian churches, not to syncretizing alternative beliefs into Christian faith. Christians, read your scriptures, and steer clear of blatant paganism.
