Extra Credit Activity — PASINAYA 2016

Proof of Visit

It was a huge privilege to actually experience this year’s Pasinaya located at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. To be exact, I’ve attended this incredible event for three years already, and nothing has changed a single bit. There was never a disappointment. From talents upheld such as singing, dancing, acting, down to creation of arts, everything was just astonishing! No words can explain how blessed I feel to have witnessed such beauty of our country. I just can’t believe that our cultures in the past still carry on until today. Of course, as a pure blooded Filipino, I think it is really wonderful to continue enriching it, as we move forward to the future. We should never forget where we came from, who we are, and the factors that consider us as Filipinos. We are gifted by God with such talents and cultures, that shouldn’t be thrown or wasted. And through Pasinaya, we are able to showcase it and remind each and every Filipino to embrace such remarkable traditions. I specifically watched Teatrillians of St. Mary’s College Quezon City “Alice in Wonderland”, UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, BAAO Children and Youth Choir, Philippine Madrigal Singers, DLS-CSB Coro San Benildo, and Boscorale. All of these were worth watching; other performances even gave me goosebumps! It’s too bad I can’t watch it all, but that’s what 2017 is for, right? I am definitely looking forward for next year’s Pasinaya and I can’t wait to experience it all over again! So much fun and love, thank you, PASINAYA 2016!
