People don’t *need* to build an enduring couple’s relationship. Rather, we all need to learn — and put into practice — the work it will require from *both* people to make it all worth it. It *will* be a lot of work. Are we willing take the risk that even after putting in the work, it’s still not worth it for both people? If not, maybe the vacation relationships are the way to go. Or maybe just surround ourselves with non-romantic friends is the way to live.
