Safety tips for visitors to Paris

Hello everyone,

Paris, the city of love, light and all dreams. Unfortunately, it is also the city of the pick pockets or pickpockets. The fact that Paris is one of the first destinations worldwide (Paris receives 28 million visitors per year approximately) attracts many opportunists who know that when they travel, bring cash.

Here is my advice and even perhaps some would seem obvious, I recommend you take a look trust me, I’ve seen the most experienced travelers steal the portfolio in Paris and the worst, stay with a bad impression of this wonderful city. I hope you serve!

The basic tip: be alert. You get too many new information when you are traveling and in a language that is not yours. These excited and amazed with such new things. It is the perfect time to forget the basics. While hiding your wallet, phone and important roles: never in your pockets.

Backpacks / backpacks: Very practical for traveling but very easy to open when you bring it back. Do not put anything important in the backpack.

Plan your travels quietly in the hotel. Take some time to locate you on the map. If you get lost, ask people. Even if Parisians have a bad reputation (well-deserved) of being unkind, better to ask and not be distracted on the road with a map in hand trying to figure out where to go, because it is the best time to distract your stuff personal.

The trick gold ring. Do not be taken by surprise: nobody gives a gold ring on the street. Say NO THANKS!

Care in the sights: Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur etc. While one is with square eyes of such beauty and completely neglected.

Out at night: If safe to go out at night with the precautions of any big city. In Paris, no armed robberies, it is rare that people fight in the street, in short, if you’re careful you can fully enjoy the city without problems. Attention! Metro closes at 2am but it is important to take it before 1:30 am to get to your destination safely.
