Hotel prices are “per room”
Most rates hotels Estadps States are not “per person” but “room.” A double room usually costs only a few dollars more than a single room and four people in a room have a small additional cost to two. This means considerable savings for two or more traveling together who do not mind sharing a room. If you rent a single room in a hotel, do not be surprised to find two huge beds in your room! In many hotels, the single room is often exactly the same as a double room.

The accommodations in Bed and Breakfast is less common
The accommodations in Bed and Breakfast is much less common in the United States than in most European countries. In this country, the B & BS often are located in historic residences or farms that have become places for smaller and exclusive accommodation (and sometimes quite expensive). Unlike hotels and motels, many of them have rates “per person” and not “per room”. They are commonly more expensive than a budget hotel.
The budget hotel chains offer good prices
To find a cheap hotel that is clean and comfortable, look for one of the national budget hotel chains. Motel 6 chains Comfort Inns, Enonolodge, Red Roof Inns, Best Western and Days Inn, offering clean accommodation, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Prices may vary depending on where they are, but usually range from $ 40 to $ 75 per night. Double occupancy rooms typically have an additional cost of only $ 5 per night. Moderately priced hotels offer some extras

Always ask for the best prices
The prices or “rack rates” of most of the hotels are usually higher than those commonly available. You can often find special or promotional rates that are far lower than those published. Most hotels offer reduced rates for seniors, corporate employees, members of car clubs and members of several other clubs prices. Occasionally they have weekend discounts or discount packages. When making your reservation or to rent the room, always ask, “Is this the most economical price?” A hotel employees often are prohibited from mentioning the discounts or special terrifies unless you specifically ask for them.
Try camping for a great outdoor adventure
