In Person Drop

To be a part of Adamjee Insurance Corporation Limited has always been my dream. I decided to go their personally to drop my Resume and Cover Letter. I went to their head office on Tuesday and approached the receptionist. I told her that I want to drop my Resume here and if she could help me to fix my appointment with HR, Madam Huma Javed. She told me there is a meeting right now and she is busy there. She asked me to come day after tomorrow(Thursday) in order to have personal discussion with the HR.

On Thursday IN again approached to their office but this time I had a chance to have discussion with the Assistant HR. He told me that the HR had to rush to Karachi on urgent basis for some important meeting and she would be available i next week. He saw through my Resume and i the mean time I started my elevator pitch. It seems like he was interested but he asked me to come again next week.

He also told me about the nature of HR, her personality and some other related things which may help me in the personal discussion with HR. As I will have to go again in the next week so I would consider these things too.

I visited their office twice in three days so it was a bit difficult for me to spare my time from my routine. On second visit I had to quit my class to go to their office. Next time if I would have to go there I would confirm the availability of the HR on the phone in order to avoid any inconvenience.

I am excited about my next week’s appointment with Madam Huma. I will prepare my elevator pitch in more efficient way to convince her.
