Part 2 of my self acceptance post. On my journey of self love I found many quotes that thoroughly helped me. I will be sharing a few of these with you. I truly hope they will help you.

A quote by the writer of Game of Thrones. I love this quote because it shows your identity is your either your shield or your demise. Don’t be afraid of who you are. When you lose that fear, you will have a very strong foundation.

Self-acceptance involves understanding yourself and identifying what disturbs the peace of your heart. Once you can identify the problem, have the courage to let go.

Have you ever loved someone with great passion, to find that they did not enjoy your intensity? Remember, it is not your love that is the issue, it is the people that you are loving.

As I said earlier, you should never battle your feelings. They are a part of you and fighting them creates a destructive war within yourself. Trust yourself a little. Believe that you will not feel this pain for long. You must walk with faith. Do not create a war.

Never ever criticize your body. It is the only place you live. It is perfectly fine to decide you want to work on it a little, and by that, you treat it with healthy food and exercise. Your body fights for you. Every cell, every neuron learns your lessons for you, even when you are too weak to fight. One day you’ll wake up and the pain you are facing will no longer hurt. And that is because your body has helped you win the battle.

So simple, it’s almost self-explanatory. Assess the quality of the love you are given. Do not settle for less. Be loved fully, or not at all.

You know your worst point. Where you’re angry, bitter, depressed and antisocial. Yes, even at that point you are worthy of being loved. “You were not made to be loved in parts, you were made to be loved as a whole.”- Nikita Gill

Part of self-acceptance is seeing the bigger picture; understanding that the pain that feels like it will last forever is only a fraction of your story. Believe that there is much more out there for you, and your heart will learn to let go. Your unwavering faith is your light, armor and weapon.

Self-explanatory. Live life with passion. After all, it’s the little things that will heal you, not a single great miracle.

Never be afraid of making decisions. You can’t always foresee your consequences, but that should never stop you. Be daring, be humble. Have no regrets. Understand that your destiny has not changed, your choices are simply different roads to getting there. You’re doing okay.
