When you think about what psychological tests are used to measure nowadays, it is hard to make a case for them actually being harmful to the human race. If anything, they serve to inform us and ultimately to help us. As much as the pre-medical student may protest, the MCAT is not “the worst test ever”. It was not so long ago that intelligence tests were used as evidence that those belonging to certain races were inferior beings.
