It’s Insane That Anyone Goes Camping

A bit of class snobbery here. The only way many people can get a “vacation” is to go camping. Even though there’s an upfront cost for equipment, it’s cheaper than paying for hotels every time. That’s primarily the reason why we camp (my kids and me). Camping cabins are optimum, but even those are a bit expensive. I rarely see this mentioned in discussions of camping. That it’s a cheap vacation if you want to go somewhere scenic.
