Political Mess

When I heard that Donald Trump was going to run for president, my first reaction was to laugh. Why would a man who has no background in politics what-so-ever run for president? I pushed that thought out of my mind, and tagged it as impossible. Presently, we are going through the primaries and what do you know, Trump has been nominated as the Republican representative. In other news, I have completely given up on America and our future. Trump has spewed nothing but hateful opinions and racist views at us, and yet instead of doing what I hoped any other decent American would do, and turn away from someone who is honestly a terrible person and should not be running our country, (that I remind you is made up of a wide variety of different races) THEY GAVE HIM THE NOMINATION.

I have never been so disappointed in our country.

Trump is not only going to make America a joke to other countries, but he is going to reach his evil little claws into the still bleeding scars of racism that we have been trying to heal, and tear them open wider than they were to begin with. We can not let such a negative person run our country, we will go straight into the ground. We have been dragging ourselves slowly up after 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, and the recession, and I promise you that if Trump becomes president we might as well lay back down and allow ourselves to be buried again. Nothing good can or will come out of this. At this point I am praying, wishing, begging for a miracle.

In an article published by Huffington Post, How to Move to Canada if Trump Becomes President there was a survey at the end asking if you would really move to Canada if Trump became president. Out of all the people who answered the survey, 47% said yes they would and 41% said maybe. I think it speaks VOLUMES that so many people would be willing to move to another country because of the president. I am with the 47%, where do you stand?
