This is a short poem about a cow that came to our house everyday.

A cow came to our house

Every morning without fail

She was a black cow with two small horns

She was very old, and must have had many calves, given milk for every need

Served her master well

We named her Lakshmi and fed her with food

Starch from boiled rice and with mixed vegetables

Whenever it was late for her food

Lakshmi would come inside the house

Go straight to the kitchen and demands

We missed her when she didn’t come

Wondering whether her master has not allowed her out today

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
