Loch Ness

Loch Ness is a very large and deep freshwater lake which is located in the scottish highland. Loch Ness is the second largest loch/lake in Scotland. The area of the lake is 56,4 square kilometres, but because of the depth of the lake, does it have the largest volume, which is 7,45 cubic kilometres.

The lake is mostly known for housing the elusiv and emysterious sea monster known as the Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie.

The Loch Ness Monster is a part of many stories, probably because of the excitement which is connected to the creature. For instance there is a Donald Duck story about Nessie
