Apologies if I made it look like I’m targeting you. What I meant that people who don’t get there proper answer for their problem using public forums should invest in paying for a professional one.
You keep saying “ask” for context. The op should provide all the information they have including the context. If the answer doesn’t apply because of lack of understanding the context, it is the question poster’s mistake. Also, a lot of people are not free to revisit and revise their answer or wait for more context.
As for the fact that people are pushing for the tools they’re familiar with, that’s in their nature. Sometimes it’s inappropriate but I don’t see how that’s a big deal. Just tune it out. Even if the OP doesn’t like it, someone else who’s actually searching for alternatives might be. These questions aren’t for a single person to take advantage of. If that’s the case, that should be deleted once the OP is done with it.
