Movies which make me Happy (Part 1)

I love watching movies of the genre: Feel Good, Romantic Comedy, Marvel’s and Bad ass Heroes etc. They make me feel good. We are all so consumed in work life that every day feels like the same. You keep thinking about work even when you are not at work. Bad things from work keep coming to your mind. When I get this feeling I tend to watch a good movie. I have watched a lot of movies from mentioning genre, so I thought I should share some of them with you. They might give you happiness.

  1. Hector and the Search for Happiness (IMDB:7/10)
Hector and the Search for Happiness

The movie is about a Guy who is a Psychiatrist and he is unable to make his clients happy. He goes on a tour to find out what makes people happy. He learns some lessons that make people happy. The movie is worth watching, There are many beautiful moments in the movie.

2. Forest Gump (IMDB:8.8/10)

Forrest Gump

I personally think, Innocent people radiate happiness. This movie exactly does that. Forest Gump, a man with a low IQ recounts his life events sitting at a Bus stop waiting to reunite with his love. Innocence of Forest Gump in the movie is worth watching.

3. Goon (IMDB:6.8/10)

Goon

Movie stars Seann William Scott (Doug Glatt) who we know from the American Pie movies. You may not have been fans of this guy but after watching this movie, You could be. He plays a role of a less sharp mind guy who’s parent does not appreciate him much. Somehow he gets into an Ice Hokey Team, which is struggling to win any match. Things start turning around for the team after Doug Glatt joins the team. Like I mentioned Innocence radiates happiness that exactly his character in movie does.

4. We Bought a Zoo (IMDB:7.1/10)

This is a great movie by Mat Damon. His character shines in this movie. The movie is about a Man (Mat Damon) who, after inheriting money from his father decide to buy an Abandoned Zoo to give their children different environment. The movie shows how they overcome the challenges after buying the Zoo.

5. Take Me Home Tonight (IMDB:6.3/10)

This is romantic comedy in which an intelligent guy who do not know what to do in his life meet with his crush from school. A series of events starts to happen, which leads him to see her again and gives her the opportunity to have her.

6. The First Time (IMDB:6.8/10)

This is a light romantic movie of a couple who meet outside a party came with their friends. The boy starts liking the girl and try to find her. The movie has a happy ending. You have to watch it to know how things go further.

7. You’ve got a mail (IMDB:6.7/10)

Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) is an independent book owner and Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) is a Book Store tycoon. Joe Fox has just opened a new big book store near Kelly’s which can put her out of business. But They have already fallen in love over the internet unaware of each other identity.

8. The Girl Next Door (IMDB:6.7/10)

Matthew is a hardworking boy who needs to win a debate competition to get the scholarship for higher study. He fell in love with a beautiful girl who comes to live in his neighbor. He soon finds that the girls he in love is former Porn Star.

9. She is out of my league (IMDB:6.4/10)

An average skinny guy Joe meets a perfect woman at the airport while working there. Fate helps them to start liking each other. But he has to overcome his lack of confidence and discourage things from his friends together.

10. The Long Shot (IMDB:6.8/10)

Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogan) is talented journalist, but always get himself into the trouble by his work. He meets his childhood crush, Charlotte, one of the most influential women, in the party. Charlotte had decided to run for Presidency so she hires Fred as her speechwriter and love start growing between them.
