Hello everyone!

I’m Aman Asrani, an undergraduate student at NIT Hamirpur. As the Community Bonding Period of GSoC wraps up, I’m excited to share my journey and experiences from this enriching phase, which spanned from May 1st to 26th.

During First week, We have an introductory meet with Everyone, in which
each participant introduced their projects and their skills. Our Mentors tell their Journey, which was really inspiring for all of us. In this meet, We get to know about CircuitVerse more and currently around millions of users have uploaded Circuits

Meet with Fellow Contributors

We had an insightful meeting with my fellow contributors to gain a better understanding of the codebase. Niladri Adhikary, provided valuable insights about the codebase, enhancing our comprehension. We also engaged in discussions about open-source practices and shared experiences, which enriched our understanding and collaboration.

Weekly Meetings

We have weekly meetings every Friday, discussing our doubts and suggestions regarding the improvement of CircuitVerse. We get to know about new things in every meeting, which is really exciting and keeps us motivated to learn more and contribute our best.

Other than that, I improved my expertise in Ruby on Rails. Being a beginner, I read the Odin Project documentation for Ruby on Rails, watched YouTube lectures, and created a project in Ruby. I asked queries regarding my Project (Project 1 — Enhancing CircuitVerse User Experience) and created a dashboard for my Project on GitHub.

Conclusion

I have learned a lot about CircuitVerse Codebase and Ruby on Rails. I am really excited to contribute and make a meaning impact. Stay tuned for upcoming weekly blogs where I’ll delve deeper into the project. Let’s Learn together! .Thank you for reading thus far!
