Day 7: Beating Procrastination & Overwhelm
Procrastination & Overwhelm: the suffering and haunting ghost for many of us! Let’s beat them both!
Tip of the day: take one imperfect action every day!
Personally I will include this in my daily success plan! See day #5!
My imperfect action is to contact one person per day who works in a totally different working environment than me and aim to extract any valuable information from him/her. This means introduce myself, ask questions like: what their jobs involve, what is their personal journey in relation to this job etc. Most importantly, I ask them how I can be of help to them in my free time! :-)
But I feel like I want part of my imperfect action to be a day devoted (alarm: key word!) to a single (not many!!!) interest or hobby. The intention being to learn more and more and more of it… This can be related to food: cooking, nutrition, combinations of food, nutritional facts of foods, sports nutrition, child nutrition, anything related to it. The exercise is to observe myself: how do I feel when I’m doing it, am I actually good at it, what can I do with it in the future i.e. keep it as a hobby or take it more serious. Learn as much as I possibly can on this topic and see where it goes! If it doesn’t go anywhere I just move on to the next one!
This is my imperfect action starting tomorrow hoping that it will unstuck me and discover what is the profession(s)/hobby that will change my life to a lifestyle filled with freedom! I’m certainly feeling more optimistic and positive in the next 30 days of imperfect actions!
Do you?
