Sure, cults are bad. By and large, if you wake up one day and realize that your boyfriend somehow managed to get you to move into a compound with him and forty other people and they somehow got your social security number and pin code, maybe get out of dodge. But then there are these little internet cults, little fandoms with one specific figurehead that are mostly harmless to the greater whole of your life if you choose to follow along blindly. Cults like that of Noodle the Pug.
Noodle is a thirteen-year-old pug whose daily forecast of bones or no bones has taken the platform TikTok, and now the rest of the internet, by storm.
What is the No Bones game you ask? Well according to Jonathan, Noodle’s human, it’s a game they play where they see if Noodle woke up with bones. Whether Noodle stays standing on his own once Jonathan let’s go, or if he flops back down as if he is made of adorable flubber, determines whether it is a Bones day or not.
