Black Out

If you think about
having a drink at
8:00 in the morning,
it is not your fault.
If you drink until
you black out, it is
not your fault. If
you can’t stop at one
drink, it is not your
fault. If you think
about having a drink
at 2:00 in the morning,
it is not your fault.
It is a disease and
the only happy ending
you will find in this
poem is the one that
throws all alcohol out.
