Lesson 1

Being a writer means
never being afraid 
to say you’ve failed.

Take this guy on my
right. He has a million
rhymes that have 
nothing to do with
each other. But that

didn’t stop his ass
from trying. That guy
is probably sitting

there right now,
regretting his existence.
Then there’s the girl

to his right. She thinks
she has the right to
call herself the Second
Coming of Shakespeare.

None of you, you heard
right, none of you, 
are the Second Coming

of Shakespeare. Be 
your own writer, and
if you don’t like

the way I say it, pray
to the god of fire and
make a beeline to the

nearest open door.
