Kim Kardashian’s Former Assistant And BFF Stephanie Shepherd’s Simple Hair Routine For Sleek & Shiny Locks

Kim Kardashian’s former assistant turned best friend, Stephanie Shepherd, recently sat down for an interview with Refinery29.

She discussed everything from her new promotion to COO of Kardashian West Brands, to her small town upbringing, how she dealt with Kim’s robbery in Paris, her love for Kris Jenner, to her simple hair routine.

Stephanie Shepherd, AKA Steph Shep, and Kim Kardashian have been rocking similar hairstyles for a while now.

Kim brought back the ‘Cher Hair’ style with shiny, stick-straight, waist-length locks back in the fall.

Stephanie’s hair is actually her real hair! She has been rocking the style for a lot longer than Kim has and she knows how to care for her long hair to keep it growing and strong.

Now, I was not blessed with her Asian genes (from her father’s side) which is probably why her hair is so perfect and shiny but I will totally take her advice on how she keeps it so healthy!

Unlike Kim Kardashian, who has lengthy beauty routines for her hair, makeup, and skin, Stephanie likes to keep it simple with “just Jen Atkins’ Ouai shampoo, Sally Hershberger’s 24K gold hair oil.”

It also probably helps that the former assistant turned COO never uses heat on her hair, letting it air dry only.

Jen Atkin also happens to be Kim Kardashian’s friend and hairstylist. Steph and Jen have grown super close over the years working together to help make Kim such a success.

Ouai Shampoo

Jen Atkin’s Ouai Shampoo comes in a few different versions (Repair, Smooth, Clean, Volume), so choose the one that’s best for your hair needs!

All of the Ouai Shampoo cleansers are infused with Ouai’s unique Smart Technology Complex™ which helps to replenish moisture, calm frizz, and leaves hair “mega smooth.”

Sally Hershberger 24K Golden Touch Nourishing Dry Oil

The Sally Hershberger 24K Golden Touch Dry Oil is a leave-in treatment that will help replenish and repair your overworked hair.

I love that this is a dry oil because sometimes hair oil can make your hair look greasy.

Would you try out Kim Kardashian’s former assistant and BFF’s simple hair routine?

I am definitely going to give it a try, plus it is about to be summer so there’s no point of styling with heat if it will just frizz up!

Would you be able to give up heat styling for healthy, shiny hair?
