However, there was no significant difference in weight or BMI even after prolonged treatment, 12 weeks even or roughly three months.

The individuals in such studies were also active and following a healthy diet. Without that, it is highly unlikely that CLA can do anything worthwhile for anyone trying to lose fat and get fit.
