#Design2Letters [day five]
A few of my coworkers have been following along and have now started requesting that I do THEIR initials. So today, I’ve worked with J & V for my favorite Developer, Jacob!
He and I talked a little before I started sketching about what sort of vibe he was feeling it should be. Simple & modern. Good thing I can do that. ;)
Step 1: Sketching!
Step 2: To the computer!
I leaned more towards the third sketch in the top row and the second sketch in the bottom row and pursued those further. What I ended up with was a combination of both!
I explored different widths between the gaps and changed the alignments of the mirrored type a ridiculous amount of times. I used Lemon/Milk for the letter V.
Step 3: Gimme some color!
When I talked with Jacob earlier, he mentioned he liked dark gray, yellow and deeper blues. So…after a bajillion different color combos, I landed on the bottom two! Enjoy.
