Nature and Its Magical Healing Power

Have you ever feel like there is a hole — a really big one — in your soul?
Hang out with your friends somehow become a tiring activity and your favorite food suddenly become tasteless.
Everything feels so wrong. It’s like something is missing in your life and you feel lost and empty. “What should I do to get off this indescribable feeling from me?” maybe you’re asking yourself that question over and over in your head.
I’ve felt that too.
Until I decided to wear my favorite comfy sweater and went to the north of my city, where the presence of trees and leaves replaced the skyscrapers and the city dust.
Nature has its own ways to cure such negative mind. And I think it’s magical. Nature can heal us through our 5 senses.
Sense of sight
The combination of green from the leaves and blue sky will help us to relax unconsciously.
Sense of hearing
Birds’ chirp, the sound of wind blowing between trees, the singing of crickets…. can you find anything more harmonic than nature’s orchestra?
Sense of smell
The fragrance of wet soil induced in rain drops mingled with the distinct smell of blooming flowers will trigger our olfactory receptor.
Sense of touch
Try to close your eyes. Feel the soft petals entangling your skin with nature’s touch. Feel the wind breezing through your hair.
Sense of taste
Feel the difference between eating in your own kitchen and going picnic to a forest. I’m sure the latter has supporting atmosphere that will enhance your taste buds.
So, after going and feeling nature yourself, go on and tell me if there is a better medicine than nature!
