The Morbius movie is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Morbius the Living Vampire. The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. It stars Jared Leto as Morbius, alongside Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, and Tyrese Gibson. In the film, Morbius is a scientist who turns himself into a vampire in an attempt to cure himself of a rare blood disease.
The film was announced in June 2017, with Jared Leto attached to star and Espinosa attached to direct. Sazama and Sharpless were hired to write the script in January 2018. Principal photography began in February 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, and concluded in May 2019.
The film will be the third installment of Sony’s Marvel Universe, following Venom (2018) and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Morbius Movie Release Date

The movie follows Dr. Michael Morbius, a scientist who is trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease. In the process, he accidentally turns himself into a vampire. The movie follows Morbius as he tries to come to terms with his new condition, and as he tries to find a way to cure himself.
The movie is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it is a well-acted and well-made movie. The visual effects are very good, and the action scenes are well done. On the other hand, the movie is very slow, and its climax could be better.
