Learning just one language does not mean that all the work is done. Learning only one programming language can limit your job opportunities, we know that technologies continues to evolve and additional programming languages are appearing, learning and using multiple languages is essential to success.

Knowing multiple languages can keep your mind alert and do a varied tasks in your job responsabilities, because you will have the ability to work on multiple projects, maybe even at the same time.

Learning a programming language is like learning a foreign language, once you know the first language, it is much easier to learn the third and fourth. When you already know one language and start learning another one, you would recognize similarities between languages, which could help accelerate the learning process and the ability to retain new information.

I personally not know many programming languages because i started just one year ago studying web development, but I’m sure I want to continue growing and learning about programming languages. The more you know, the better it will be for your future.
