130 km/hr Speedy Trials of Talgo Train on New Delhi-Mumbai Route of Indian Railways!

Location: Umroli and Mumbai Central, Mumbai Divn~Western Railways, Maharashtra Date: 2nd and 6th August, 2016 Camera: Canon Powershot SX60HS After successfully testing Talgo train at top speed that is 180–200kmph, the trials are now being conducted on New Delhi-Mumbai Route via Kota-Vadodara-Surat, the route used by the Fastest Rajdhani Express of Indian Railways 12951/52 Mumbai Rajdhani Express. The first trial started on 1st August, 2016 from New Delhi at 19:55 and was expected to reach at around 09:00 next morning. However due to heavy rains in Southern Gujrat as tracks was washed away resulting in 2.5H delay. I was on a trip to Goa and Pune, luckily was able to spot it in Mumbai Region as well after capturing in Delhi region. The first trial was conducted using a WAP-5 Locomotive based at Ghaziabad Electric Shed.
