On September, 7th the co-founder of the AMAZY project Sergey Kosenko and CPO Stanislav Zhupin held an AMA session. They answered to the community questions, made two major announcements, and raffled 5 NFT sneakers.
Sneakers burn mechanics, the project’s capitalization and treasury, the hate in the social media, and much more was discussed.

1. What is your agenda in AMAZY? Why did you start with M&E?
AMAZY is a platform with many applications and a huge community, these are the most valuable things for us right now. The app with NFT sneakers is a starting point of entrance into the crypto world for many of our users. It’s the easiest and greatest experience to join the crypto. We also created a free AMAZY Academy. Newbie reads it, learns something, takes our assets, interacts in the process, and becomes a crypto user. The main goal is to create more active users in the world of Web 3.0 and to create a huge sustainable crypto project. To implement that, we need to bring together a large audience, but we can’t do that so fast.
The audience of the application is growing now. At the same time, we are launching a P2E game, where our AMT token will be used. This is not really an application about earnings. There is a Leaderboard, where the users put their AMTs before the fight, and as a result, the winner receives a prize.
We are working on making physical tracker, which will measure calories when you exercise. It doesn’t really matter if it’s tennis, soccer, or swimming. This will allow you to move your trainings to the gym, as a wintertime is ahead.
We are making a video about the project’s future. We are creating AMAZY Multiverse, where you will have playable characters, a large NFT collection. You can buy a character, for example, you go to the AMAZY application, and you will have your own avatar that walks in your NFT sneaker. There will be different races, different skills. Then, you and this character will be able to move to the P2E application and, for example, buy an ax for him, and you can fight there. AZUR Games has a great experience in such games, and with their help we can create a metaverse where everyone will be interested in. We do it all for the long term.
We are also announcing new ways of account activation:
1. We will have a telegram bot, that issues a limited number of codes every hour within a day.
2. We also want to issue 1 activation code to those people who already have sneakers on their account. If you have more than 5 sneakers — you will have 2 codes, more than 15 sneakers — 3 codes to invite friends to the application. This kind of referral system will not give you bonuses, but it will help you to invite friends.
2. Any advice or strategy for chips? What is the best minimum base for this and what sneaker?
The mechanics of how Luck power will be calculated is written in the WP and was written even before the release of the application. The main point of the mechanics is that the higher the Fortune and the lower the Performance, the more Luck power you get per unit of energy you burn. If we are talking about AMT earnings, then it doesn’t matter how much energy you have passed at a time, you can walk for 5–10 minutes and receive general accruals to your wallet. The mechanics of Luck power is completely different. You take a one-time walk and accumulate Luck power. The more Luck power you have accumulated in one walk, the higher the chance to get a chest. If you have accumulated a lot of Luck power, the chest will fall out for sure. But the question is “what?”: Common, Uncommon, etc. Plus, a new AMAZY rarity appears. Luck powers do not accumulate on your account. At the end of each walk, they either convert or do not convert to chest, the idea is to take a long walk. A high Performance score will have a negative impact on the drop of the chest with chips.
This is done because with high Performance you will get a lot of AMTs, with high Fortune you will get chests with chips, and this will lead to disbalance in the application. In terms of sneakers, you choose a range of speed that you can maintain for a long walk.
3. Are you planning to introduce notifications while walking, such as out of speed range, or unstable GPS signal?
Everything related to the push notifications is already in the process of working. At this moment we are finalizing the technical part of the application. Now, a technically difficult and important task is to implement chips. Notifications will be added after the chips, most likely. We are also planning to add many different notifications, such as about the sale of a sneaker to the mailbox, notifications that the mint cooldown has ended, or about the end of leveling up. There is a large number of notifications scheduled in our technical tasks. Most likely, there will be sound notifications. We will take similar mechanics from “running” applications.
4. Will it be possible to burn 1 sneaker 1 time?
This mechanic has not been introduced and does not work yet. But when it is introduced, a gray sneaker, pumped up to level 30, could be burned for a certain amount of AMT tokens and turned into a green sneaker. From green it will be possible to get a blue one and so on. But the legendary sneaker will no longer be obtainable through this mechanic. Also, keep in mind that each time you will need to pump up your sneakers and pay extra for burning AMT tokens. The price for burning will be neutral, equal to the price of obtaining this type of sneaker rarity in the mint. The burning price of the Coacher will be higher, as this type of sneaker itself is rarer.
5. How is the price of a token on PancakeSwap set? What does it mean that you added liquidity from the sale of boxes there?
The price of the token is set in a pair, the AMT token is traded relatively to the BUSD stablecoin. There is a pair of AMT/BUSD, and in this pair the price is maintained in such a way that 50% are AMT tokens, and the other 50% are BUSD stablecoins.
If we look at the example of creating a new token:
You have created a token and you want that token to be worth one dollar. You added 1,000 tokens and deposited $1,000 against them. But what will happen if someone buys tokens? Someone bought 500 tokens for $500 and the pool is now $1,500 and 500 tokens, and now the token is worth $3, if the token has little liquidity.
We have added all the liquidity from the sale of boxes securing the AMT token. Due to this, the exchange rate of the AMT token is stable, although the trading volume is quite large. For app users, this is important, with a lot of liquidity, you can buy and sell the token without changing the price. Our goal is to make the token popular in our ecosystem.
6. At what stage is communication with bloggers right now?
We have more than 300 chats with bloggers, including international bloggers. Now our goal is to popularize the project. There are many bloggers who talk about the project. We give them away a little bit of activation codes, tracking the statistics of incoming users. We ask many people not to tell in their stories about AMAZY until we can accept the entire audience into the project. We will increase marketing integration. Right now, we are all together with you creating AMAZY.
7. Did AMAZY plan to be in the top 3 M2E projects by capitalization in October? Will it happen?
If you look at this list:
1. Now, on the first place is STEPN.
2. On the second place is Genopets. It is already one year old, and the project is also interesting. But it distributed a lot to the guilds, the share of users is very small. The favor of guilds is incredible.
3. On the third place is Stepapp, an app without an app. A large number of tokens is currently locked, due to this the capitalization is inflated.
4th-5th place is shared by AMAZY and Walken.
So, we are getting very close.
8. When will a transparent mechanism for burning the AZY token be created? A month has passed since the launch of the application, but the number of tokens has remained the same.
Now, AZY tokens from mint are sent to a contract and are frozen on this contract, this is Community Treasury. A frozen token can’t be sold, it has already gone out of circulation. This mechanics is already as transparent as possible. The only plus in burning is that the total number of tokens decreases. On one hand, this is good, but freezing has its advantage as well. We can see under the contract how many AZY tokens have accumulated there from the M2E application. Thanks to such treasuries, new users can evaluate the rating of projects. Globally, for us there is no difference whether to burn or accumulate AZY, we already see our statistics, but for users the treasury is more convenient. We can vote to burn the token or accumulate. If this is such a fundamental point for you.
9. When will you buy back the tokens from the commission in the treasury?
We have a turnover of about $2 million on the market, the commission is currently 5%. About $100 thousand has accumulated. This is a small amount. Objectively, in order to influence the market, this is not efficient amount. It makes sense to buy something in the amount of $ 500 thousand, but no less. All contracts and everything that accumulates on them is in the public access.
10. A ridiculous small amount of AZY used for a mint. You should understand that if there are 10 times more users, this still won’t be enough and won’t affect the price of the token.
We have 7.5 thousand users right now. If we have 10 times more of them, we get 75 thousand, minus current users we get 67 thousand of new users. According to our statistics, users have an average of 3 sneakers, so we get around 202 thousand mints. For a mint, you need approximately 350 AZY, because there are expensive mints as well. Taking into account the current price of the AMT token, the number of AZY tokens for mint will increase, we get 70 million AZY tokens. There are currently 60 million tokens in open circulation, and a monthly unlock is 6 million. It turns out that there are no free circulation tokens to provide such a number of users. We can’t even provide such a number of users with the number of tokens.
11. When will sneaker’s rental be added? It is interesting in terms of gameplay to rent one particular sneaker.
The introduction of the rent mechanics is good, but only when there are significantly more new users. There will be a sufficient number of users who have a lot of assets, but they are already tired of everything, and they will be ready to rent their sneakers out. Now, we are focusing on those things that are important for users who will use the application at the moment. We already have the technical task, we have a vision on this matter, but we can’t do everything at once.
12. Will Genesis owners have access to the second app that has just been announced in VIP chats?
Now, users have access to the version on the Test Flight. Don’t worry, there will be access. And there will be benefits in this application too. The app will have paid characters and, maybe, we drop them to the Genesis owners.
13. AMT pool for CBT participants?
There is no great need to drop AMT to users, taking into account the current situation on the market. We distributed boxes as a reward to users with CBT. In order to drop something to someone, there must be an excess of this. If you make a drop “for a tick”, it will be a $20–50 drop depending on the activity when you submit bug reports.
Do you want us to give out as much as we can now, or to give out as much as we want, but when this will be possible? Either scenario is possible. If you want, we will make a vote on this issue.
14. How will you respond to hate on social media?
We have no objective to respond to haters. Hate is good as well. It’s bad when no one talks about you, when they talk about you — it means that you are interesting.
15. What is the official date of birth of AMAZY?
We have a token release date, an application release date, and a date when we conditionally made the first call and decided that we would do this project. In general, AMAZY has a holiday every day. It is important that the project has already been born, continues to live, grow and develop.
16. When are you planning the first rewards and bonuses for Genesis owners?
We will think about how to make a drop for Genesis owners. There will be paid characters and items in the new app. Most likely, we will give away some of the characters and items to Genesis owners.
It is important to note that in the second application, asset prices are small, the average price per character is $10–15. This is done on purpose to involve a large number of users. This application is for people who can play for 5–10 minutes a day. On average, in the world of games in such applications, a check is 3–5 dollars. We are making this application around this amount. The more time you spend in the game, the more it will develop, become larger, more expensive assets will appear in it. But at the beginning, it won’t be an expensive game with a small check to enter. We make the application for the current market.
17. Will there be a light theme in the app?
There will be, but this is the visual part, and it will be developed after the technical part is done.
18. Can you define if the model of an Apple or Android device affects the speed and accuracy of sensor readings?
Each device has its own sensor, some are more sensitive. For example, on old Androids, if you don’t turn off all unnecessary modules while walking, the sensors may simply not record the speed or steps. Older devices are less capable of supporting modern applications. There can be no difference between Apple and Android, at least not on purpose. Yes, the speed reading may vary. We are talking about technical changes. We receive feedback from users, data from devices, and fine-tune the interaction with certain modules. Now more or less all phones fall into the right ranges.
19. After burning the sneaker, will its type be the same?
When burned, the Genesis tag is retained, the sneaker type is retained, but the characteristics will be random. But random in the range you convert it to.
