3 RESOURCES THAT I COULD NOT HAVE GONE THROUGH MY SPEECH DEGREE WITHOUT:
I am not going to lie, this Speech Pathology degree has been bloody hard work, but don’t get me wrong, it has been worth every second. So for all you other students I am going to share with you some of my favourite and most treasured resources that have made my life at uni a whole lot easier…. or some what more bearable ;)
1. Phonological Processes: download this document ASAP it is my bread and butter of phonological processes http://mommyspeechtherapy.com/wpcontent/downloads/forms/phonological_processes.pdf
2. Phonetic Transcription: all I can say is this phonetic transcription cheat sheet is my saviour

3. Stackhouse and Wells Model: when it comes to paediatric speech therapy Stackhouse and Wells is key. I highly recommended Stackhouse and Wells journal articles ‘Intervention for a child with persisting speech and literacy difficulties: A psycholinguistic approach (2006)’ and ‘Phonological therapy within a psycholinguistic framework: Promoting change in a child with persisting speech difficulties (2005)’
